Lessons with Stephany

At Serendipity Dressage, our lessons are tailored to YOUR needs.  Flying in and need a horse to lesson on?  We can do that!  Want to trailer your horse in for a lesson or a series of lessons?  We can do that too!  We have a huge covered arena, perfect for those hot Florida days, with top class GGT footing, as well as our riding pasture for those who want access to a bigger space.

Our lessons always start with “what would you like to get out of this session?”  and build from there. Whether you are working on improving your position in the saddle, working on furthering your knowledge of Dressage or simply need someone to give you a direction, our 1 hour lessons are interactive,  hands on and in depth.

One of the frustrations a lot of riders run into is having a GREAT lesson…but they cannot reproduce it at home.  Our lessons are interactive, meaning that the rider is always part of the learning process, not merely doing what they are told.  Questions are encouraged, and key words are used that will help each rider in their unique journey – not just historic words that may or may not work for you.  For Stephany, no lesson is complete without a recap – a checklist for you to take home with you, a remembering of things to look for and look at.

Lesson Students Can Learn

Live far away?

We have a couple options available!

In addition to our AirBnB, we also offer our Efficiency!  The Eff is a cozy space for people who want to stay a day or a week for lessons and training, but don’t need the whole Ranch House.  It has a full tiny kitchen and a full bath, all equipped for your stay.  Downstairs there is a queen sized Murphy bed, with 1 -2 additional twins in the loft!  A great space for 1 – 2 adults, it is the perfect place to getaway and enjoy our stunning sunsets after a great day in the covered arena!

Wish you could come, but just can’t get away from home?

Stephany also offers virtual lessons.  From her own experience, not every teacher is great with virtuals, but Stephany has extensive experience working virtually.  With her live lessons, you get in the moment assistance with biomechanics or dressage training.  While she is not there in person, Stephany still finishes each lesson with a recap and a checklist.  If you can have an extra person available for your lesson, she is happy to use that person as her “hands” for hands on assistance as well.  It is a great follow up for a clinic, or to enhance your program with your current riding instructor.  For people who love to watch videos and take notes, Stephany offers her assessment lessons:  you send in previously recorded video of you and your horse – could be at home, could be a show!

Stephany will assess the video, make a plan, and host you on a person to person meeting (Zoom, Google Meet, etc) where you watch the video together!  This is a great mode for visual learners, and can include off horse exercises that can enhance your time in the saddle!
